Chili Dog Pizzas with Sauerkraut and Black Olives

Part chili dog, part pizza.......what better kid friendly dinner could you want?

I've made this concoction for years now.  I've always enjoyed coming up with fun
unique pizzas that have my family raising their eyebrows and saying......really mom?
Tanner said after eating 4 or 5 slices, that this was his favorite home baked pizza besides
the pesto roasted veggie one we do on the grill.

The fun thing is that this seriously tastes just like a chili dog!  You get all the taste without
all the mess with the buns breaking and everything falling off your dog and onto your plate.
Plus it's healthier cause you would probably want to serve this with salad instead of fries
or chips.

Chili Dog Pizzas with Sauerkraut and Black Olives

Pizza crusts, 2 pre-made
yellow mustard, enough to cover the bottom of the crust and to drizzle over the top
1 can chili, no beans
4 hot dogs, sliced
2 cups cheddar cheese
1 can black olives
1/2 onion minced
1 cup sauerkraut, drained and squeezed dry

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

*This makes 2 pizzas, so use half the amounts for each.

Spread pizza crust with mustard and top with 1/2 can of chili for each crust.  Next sprinkle
cheese, hot dogs, black olives, and onions.

Bake at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.

After coming out of the oven top pizzas with sauerkraut and serve.

On your next pizza, just remember......whatever you can make on bread or buns you
can make on a pizza.   All you have to do is use your imagination!  I've got some more
ideas floating around right now.   How about you?
